Milo was sitting on the floor with his head on Eric's knee and practicing forming a shadow between his two hands. There was a little gray wolf on the hearth rug next to a girl who was polishing and restringing her bows. There was a little brown wolf tussling with a rope toy and trying to get a HUGE black wolf to play with him.

"His name is Frederick. And you deal with him daily, though perhaps not in ways you understand."

He kissed Milo's hair.

"You'll probably meet him soon. He likes to visit."

"Good."

He snuggled up and took a kiss.

"I love it here."

Eric smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I'm glad you like it. I hoped you'd stay."

He nodded.

"I don't have anyone to go home to anymore. My mother died in the influenza, my brother was killed in guard duty."

And Eric knew about his father.

He nodded.

"You shouldn't feel as if you have no options, though. As much as I wish for you to stay here with me."

He shrugged.

"I have options. I could go work for Christine's father, or work as a butcher as my grandfather did. I'm happy here."

He grinned and pulled Milo into a kiss.

"I'm glad."

[super_lars]

Milo kissed Eric back.

"Are you happy with me? I know you rescued me out of kindness."

[super_danii]

He raised an eyebrow.

"Kindness and attraction. You're a very pretty young man. And I'm quite content with things as they are."

"Me too."

He smiled as he watched Stanislav shift up to human form.

And Esteban shifted up to pull him close and start kissing him needfully.

Eric smiled too.

Stanislav grinned into the kiss and started wriggling out of his clothes. Christine tsked and sighed.

"Boys, we're in the living room."

Esteban looked up at that, then glanced around.

"The rug is soft enough. Promise."

[super_lars]

"Okay, but be gentle, you know how he bruises."

She said as she unlaced her bodice.

He looked over at Stanislav.

"I'll be on the bottom so he doesn't bruise."

[super_lars]

Stan whooped and punched the air and tackled Esteban into another kiss.

Esteban laughed and kissed him firmly.

Eric laughed as well.

[super_lars]

Marcus lolled his tongue out and then went to flop on Lucas. Christine slipped around behind Esteban to nibble at his neck.

The trio were just starting to get to their business when a pretty blond woman walked in and settled against the massive black wolf.

Marcus licked her cheek and Lucas shifted up to kiss her properly.

[super_danii]

Eric nodded to them.

"You see, Milo? He does come out of his fur occasionally."

Lucille turned to him and nuzzled his cheek.

Milo smiled and watched them.

"But only ever for her."

"Yes, which is as it should be. You'll notice Marcus is only rarely out of his fur as well."

[super_lars]

"Yeah, usually only for Kurt, but Esteban is in and out of fur all the time. Why is that?"

[sv_danii]

"Esteban is a chimera," he admitted with a spread of his hands, "and his Animus is not his only trait."
